STARR - Gerald R., Sr. Of Gasport, age 88. Passed suddenly January 23, 2022. Beloved husband of Florence Canaski; devoted father of Brenda (Michael) Kaempf and Gerald R. Starr Jr.; adored grandfather of Brian (Krystina Smith) and Scott (Victoria Steinke) Kaempf; loving son of the late Raymond and Margaret Starr; dear brother of Floyd (Rosemary) Starr; and predeceased by several brothers and sisters. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Gerald was a member of the U.S. Army, Airborne Division, during the 1950s. He was also a dedicated employee of the General Motors, Parts Division, for 25 years. He loved his grandsons, bowling, and the Bills. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Sheridan Dr., on Saturday, February 5th, from 2-5 PM with a Memorial Talk immediately to follow.
