John Hart

John Hart, 88, of Lime Lake, entered into rest on June 12, 2025. Devoted husband of the former Katherine Virginia Hart and the late Darlene Hart; beloved father of Cynthia Hart, Kathy (Spencer) Jimerson, Vickie (Danny) Daly and Laurie (Merrill) Strauss; cherished grandfather of Jason, Jessica, Jordan, Erica, Nathan and Bethany and several great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Howard and Victoria (nee Lipka) Hart; dear brother of Daniel Hart; also survived by nieces and nephews.

John enjoyed hunting and fishing earlier in life. As time went on, John would enjoy collecting coins and spending time outside, sitting on his porch and listen to his wind chimes. An avid cat lover, he would also take time to feed the strays in his neighborhood. He was known for his beautiful flower gardens. Above all, he was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. John was a hard-working State employee who retired from the J.N Adams Developmental Center.

No prior visitation. A private graveside will be held at Liberty Cemetery in Cattaraugus, NY. Condolences may be made on this page.
