BENSON - Ralph Of Grand Island, entered into rest October 14, 2019. Beloved husband of Ruthann (nee Leavers) Benson for 71 years; devoted father of Bruce (Judith) Benson and Bonnie (Amedeo) Amodio; cherished grandfather of Christina, Anthony (Kristin), Melissa (Henri), Brian (Brittni), and Craig (Holly); adored Pepa of six great-grandchildren; dear brother of Elmer and the late Sylvia. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Friday from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Service will immediately follow. Ralph was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in both the Korean War and World War II. He was also a Brother of the Masonic Lodge for 65 years.
