Diaz, Santos of Blasdell entered into rest on July 13, 2021. Devoted father of Maria Potter; Santos Sammy (Jane Piechocki) Diaz; Debra (Thomas) Gilmore and the late Anthony (Michelle Renee) Diaz; adored grandfather of Samantha, Andrea, Anthony Jr., Briana, Nicholas, Celina, Cody, Lucas, and Thomas; loving son of the late Anicasio and Candelaria Diaz; dear brother of Ines Calderon, Chelo Diaz, Anna Diaz, Rosie Paredes, Cruzita Diaz Hernandez, Benito Diaz, and Cleotilda (Ruiz) Diaz; predeceased by Luis Diaz, Feliz Diaz, Anistasio (Taso) Diaz, and Sara Diaz Colon; also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Sunday from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anthony Church, 306 Ingham Ave., Lackawanna on Monday at 10:00 oclock, (please assemble at church). Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
