HOMEGOING SERVICE FOR ALAN GREGORY CALLAHAN SUNRISE: SEPTEMBER 6, 1963 SUNSET: FEBRUARY 28, 2024 Alan Gregory Callahan Sr. affectionately known as Greg, was born to the late Vera Mae and Columbus Ricardo (Rocky) Callahan on September 6,1963 in Deaconess Hospital in Buffalo, New York. In his youth he attended both Buffalo Public Schools # 59 and West Hertel Academy. Greg received his G.E.D but felt as if he wanted better so he attended Bennett Night School where he received his High School Diploma. Greg worked at Weekend Cheese for over 15 years until his health began to decline. Greg enjoyed cars, boats, fishing and most of all his music. He loved to sing and dance. He is preceded in death by his Oldest Sister Alice and his Great-Nephew Daniel affectionately called Danny. He leaves to cherish his memory His Siblings, Brother Lester (Lisa), Sisters Dorothy (Al), and Cynthia all of Buffalo, New York. His Favorite Uncle Robert (Vivian) and Aunt Delores of Cleveland, OH. His 3 Beautiful Children Daughters April and Channelle and His Son Alan Jr. Three Grandchildren, Shaniyah, Amari Alan( affectionately called PapaDoc by Granddad) and Amour Marie. His Nieces and Nephews Jerome, Michael (Karen), Christina ( Avion), LaTonya (James) , Jammian (Danielle), LaTosha (Terrence), LaKeshia (Dwight), Jamil (Salley), DeAndre, Jabrille, Justina (Quentin), and a host of Great Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins of whom he was always a Unique and Special Part of their lives. The Family would like to extend our Deepest and Sincerest Thank You to all whom visited, sent up Prayers and for simply being here as we accept the Transition of our Dearest Greg.
