Alexander John Ratkowski

RATKOWSKI, Alexander John, 82, of Snyder, entered into rest on October 5, 2023. Devoted partner of 50 years of Richard Leimbach; loving son of the late Aloysius G. and Bernice M. (nee Sterkowicz) Ratkowski; dear brother of Richard (Helen) Rand, David (Kim) Ratkowski, Mary Ann (Floyd) Wiechec and the late Kenneth (Dorothy) and Robert Ratkowski; fond uncle of several nieces and nephews including Brian Kerr; cherished brother-in-law to Peggy, James (Wendy) and Deborah Leimbach and Laurie Kerr; also survived by extended family and friends. Alex was an Economics Professor at SUNY Buffalo State for many years. Relatives and friends may celebrate Alexs life at Marottos Restaurant, 3365 Delaware Ave. Kenmore, on Saturday October 14 from 3:30-5:30pm.
