Beloved wife of the late Francisco Vega; devoted mother of Cynthia (Alan) Avellan, Moises (Alexandra) Portugues, Maritza Vega, Fernando Vega, Shailyn Vega, Madeline Vega, Tania Vega, and the late David Portugues and Maria Vega; cherished grandmother of Joshua, Samantha, AJ, Valaria, Claudia, Andrew, Kimberly, Joseph, Ruvio, Fernando Jr., Melina, Watu Jesus, Mathias, Mason, Emma, Shawn, Taylor, and Thomas; adored great-grandmother of Avyon, Iymani, Kameron, Zariah, Alexia, Michael, and Eliana; loving sister of Efrain Portugues and the late Jesus "Chucho," Miguel Angel "Guelo," Fermin "Ito," Jesusa, Emma "Bibi," Juanita "Nanin" Portugues, Francisco Luzanaris "Paco," U.S. Army Borinqueneer Aladino, Monico, Luciano, Juan, and Lea "Hilda" Silva.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder chapel) 4614 Main St., (near Harlem Rd.) on Sunday, November 23, from 12-3 PM. A prayer service will follow at 3PM. Donations may be made to the family.
