ATKINSON - Allene G. (nee Griffin) Of Harrisonburg, VA, formerly of Alden, NY, entered into rest May 10, 2016, beloved wife of the late Harry D. Atkinson; devoted mother of Thomas (Cheryl) Atkinson, Marilyn (Normand) Mailhot, Leanna (Mathew) Magee, Fan Marie (Darwin) Kipfer, Joyce Atkinson; cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; loving daughter of the late John and Grace Griffin; dear sister of the late Pauline (late Eugene) Mackley, late Elmer (late Anna Mae) Griffin and the late Howard (late Fay) Griffin. Relatives and friends may visit the Alden Mennonite Church, 923 Two Rod Rd., Alden, NY, on Friday from 6-9 PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock (at the same location). -
