SHAVER - Alverta L. Rusty Of Kenmore, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family June 15, 2022. Beloved Mother of Kathleen Briandi, Cynthia (James) Coate, David W. Shaver, and her precious son the late Bobby Shaver; devoted grandmother of Gregg Briandi, Patrick Brennan and Margaret Berry-Shaver; dear aunt of Nancy (Mark), Doug (Trish), Reg, Terry (Stacey), Brad (Lynn) and Jimmy; adored daughter of the late Edwin and Margaret Harris, Sr.; loving sister of the late Edwin J. (Joyce) Harris, Jr. and the late LaVerne (late Joseph) Pilinko; cherished companion of the late Robert BZ Zankowski and furmom to Pinot and Murphy. No prior visitation. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), Amherst, NY. Rusty was definitely unique but also strong, fiercely independent, beautiful and loving. Throughout her life she faced many battles hence her favorite song I Will Survive. Rusty was a second Mom to many and everyone gravitated to Mayville for comfort and advice or just to be together and make unforgettable memories. Red is loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Rusty always loved a party so please join us in celebrating her life. A Memorial will be held at the Hamlin House (Troop 1 Post), 432 Franklin St., Buffalo, NY on Saturday, July 16th with a service at 3 PM, dinner to follow. All are welcome.
