Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Hunter) Salter and the late Rosalind (nee Scott) Salter; Devoted father of Ramona (Willie) Overall and the late Alvin David Salter Jr.; Dear step-father of Michele Williams, Tracey (Gregory) Smith, Tamika (Herbert) Winfield, and David (Sade) Williams. Also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Adored brother of Norman (Linda) Salter, Larry (late Delores) Salter, and Anna (Jimmy) Williams. Pre-deceased by his parents and 8 siblings. Alvin was a proud veteran of The United States Armed Forces.  Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert Rd. on Saturday April 18, from 10-11 AM where a Homegoing Service will immediately follow at 11 AM.
