GORTON - Ann E. (nee Pirie, formerly Sierzenga) of Syracuse and Rochester, formerly of Buffalo, NY. Entered into rest on April 2, 2020. Dearest daughter of the late Richard Dick and Helen Pirie of South Buffalo; beloved sister of Richard F. (Jeanne) Pirie; cherished wife of the late Lee Gorton and the late Edward J. Sierzenga; loving mother of Maureen Alessio, the late Edward M. Butch Sierzenga and Patricia (Jay) Sierzenga Blaine; grandmother to Lauren (George) Dooher and Theresa Alessio; great- grandmother to George Dooher IV; aunt to Gerald Pirie. Due to COVID-19, services will be private with no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas at a later date.
