Of Amherst, NY passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026. Daughter of Philip and Mary Notaro (nee Alessi). Beloved wife of the late Michael S. Insinna; devoted mother of Michael J. Insinna, deceased (Beverly), Steven Insinna (Joy), Annette M. Romeo (Robert); Cherished grandmother of Dana Romeo, Emily and Jessica Insinna, and Maddie Insinna. Dear sister of Sebastian Notaro, deceased (Rose), Joseph Notaro, deceased (Myrt), Philip Notaro, Deceased (Arlene), Leo Notaro, deceased (Jeannette), James Notaro (Shirley), Anthony Notaro (Barbara), Elaine Thrasher and Ceci (niece). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ann was born in Buffalo, NY, on March 9th, 1934. She graduated from Grover Cleveland H.S. in 1951 and worked as a secretary at a local appliance store. Michael and Ann started writing to each other during the Korean War and met in Buffalo. They married August 29, 1953, in Buffalo NY. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, listening to music, talking and laughing with family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held for Annie on Saturday, April 25th, 10am, at St. Joseph University Church, 3269 Main St. Buffalo, NY 14214. Luncheon to follow at Siena, 4516 Main St. Snyder, NY 14226.

Donations in Ann’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or, FeedMore Foundation of WNY.
