Anthony Sambrotto

Of Buffalo, entered into rest suddenly, January 26, 2014, beloved husband of the late Diane (nee Furlanetto) Sambrotto; devoted father of Raymond (Beverly) Sambrotto, Anthony (Angela) Sambrotto and Rosann (Joseph) Smith; cherished grandfather of Colby, Lia, Carrie, Danielle, Dianna, Joey, Anthony and Julia; adored great-grandfather of eight great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Raymond and Mary Sambrotto; dear brother of the late Nicholas (late May Nigro), Raymond (Joan), George (Audrey) and Anna Marie. Mr. Sambrotto was a Navy veteran of WW II in the Pacific Theater on LST-557. He was also a member of the VFW Post and the Francis A. Lombardo American Legion Post 1031. He was an inductee of the Harvard Cup Hall of Fame.
