Anthony Williams Sr.

March 23, 1969 — December 9, 2023

Remembering Anthonys Life Anthony Williams, Sr was born on March 23, 1969 to the (late) Sarah Helen (Kelley) Williams and the (late) Joseph Cauley in Buffalo, New York. He was one of five siblings; Tammy, Carl, (late) Alfonso, (late) Kenneth, and his younger sister Belinda "Lynn" whom he shared an unbreakable bond of unconditional love, trust, and understanding. He was his sisters keeper! Anthony grew up in Buffalo, NY where he was educated in the Buffalo Public School System at Burgard High School. After completing a program from Job Corp he received his GED in 1987. Anthony was funny, caring, genuine, selfless, and always made others laugh & smile. He forged many childhood relationships; but one special friendship was with his best friend Francenia whom he shares his two daughters with and who is also Godmother to his youngest son. He later met Lisa whom he shares his son Anthony Ja- son with. On June 20, 1998, he met his wife & soul mate Chantavia and settled down in the town of Tonawanda, NY. Together they were blessed with their son Anthony, Jr. From these three relationships Anthony created a beautifully blended family. Anthony & Chan- tavia lived an amazing life that included volunteering at community events, donating to various causes, having family game nights, barbeques, holidays, and other celebratory events. Anthony began working at The Home Depot in Buffalo, NY seven years ago where he was one of their most favorable associates. He was recognized several times as Employee of the Month and received numerous customer compliments. His strong work ethic and unwavering dedication had earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and superiors. Anthony, who was lovingly called Tony, loved Yahweh and his family. Everyone who knew him knew he had a wonderful taste in dress; from head to toe his wardrobe was always on point matching colors & patterns with an artist touch. But his footwear really set him apart, always shining & looking brand new. He enjoyed working out at the gym with his son AJ and looked forward to family gatherings. Anthony really enjoyed taking his grandchildren & special people in his life out on dates. Spot Coffee was one of his favorite places to go. One of Yahwehs sculptures; Anthony was a loving and attentive father to his daughters Shavone & Nykita and his sons. He was the favorite uncle to his nieces Chevon and Teonna, his great nephew Christian, and his niece the late Mariah. He forged lifelong bonds with his stepfather Leroy "Junior", Alfreda "Momma Reed", Sandra "Mama Pryce", and another childhood friend Terrance "Tim" Johnson. He also enjoyed spending time with his bonus grandson DeVere Montel DeLeo. Anthony felt good after ensuring that the people he cared most about and loved felt great; never missing a beat when they needed to hear words of encourage- ment and letting them know how much he loved them. Anthony heard the voice of Yahweh and received the gift of eternal life on December 9, 2023, at age 54. He was preceded in death by his grandparents the late Bunny Williams, late Fred & late Mattie Renford and the late Pink & late Willease Cauley; uncle the late Roger Cauley; brothers the late Alfonso Williams and late Kenneth Williams; nephew late Kevin Lewis, and niece late Mariah Lokey.
