Arnold R. Wendt

WENDT, Arnold R. 87, of Orchard Park, NY entered into rest November 6, 2018. Arnold was born in Senftenberg, Germany and met his wife, Helga, there as well. In 1959, they came to the US and lived in the Buffalo, NY area since. Arnold worked as a Baker at several local bakeries for his entire career. He enjoyed travelling, was an avid card player, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arnold was pre-deceased by his wife of 57 years, Helga; his son-in-law, Vincent DiMaria; and his great-granddaughter, Victoria James. He is survived by his children, Annemarie Wendt, Sonja (Nicholas) Kouimanis, Siegfried Wendt, Elisabeth Wendt, and Richard (Jennifer) Wendt. Arnold is also survived by eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.No prior visitation, private service.
