Arthur W. 'Artie' Dimartile

DiMartile, Arthur W. Artie, of Grand Island, entered into rest December 11, 2020. Beloved husband of 29 years of Bernadette A. Bunny DiMartile (nee Rosenberger). Devoted father of Michelle DiMartile, Mark (Kelly) DiMartile, and Tena (Todd) Roughsedge. Cherished grandfather of Nick (Kelsey Brady) DiMartile, Jenna (Justin) Crawford, Kayla (Charlie) Vergara, and Faith and Abby Roughsedge. Loving son of the John T. and Anna M. DiMartile. Dear brother of Richard (Carol), Carolyn (Ralph) Colborn and the late John (late Mary). Also survived by his former wife, Mary DiMartile, with whom Artie and Bunny remained close friends. Artie was a member of the Town Boys Club, the Sheridan Transit Rob and Gun Club, the Niagara River Station Fishing Club, and a lifetime member of the Grand Island Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and card player. Artie was a loving, caring and generous man. He will be well remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. Family services are private at this time due to COVID-19, but a Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosewell Park Cancer Institute, the Saint Anthony Foundation, the Saint Peregrine Foundation or the Saint Jude Foundation.
