VELEZ - Aurea (nee Diaz-Rodriguez) Of Buffalo, NY, entered into rest November 24, 2021; devoted mother of Israel and Evelyn Escabi, Diane, Aurea Lidia, Henry, William (Daisy), Gilbert (Anna), and David Velez; adored grandmother and great-grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Juan DiazValentin and Emelia Rodriguez-Sanchez; dear sister of Mario (Carmina), Mary (late Carlos), Frank (Carmen), Amado, Rosa Lydia, Blanca Iris (late James) and the late Constancia and Wilson (Josefa). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr., on Thursday from 3-6 PM with a Funeral Service immediately to follow.
