Hawkins; cherished grandmother of Melba V., Brianna F., Erica K., Barbara J., Aleigha L., Deona L., Faith L., Tamara N., Michael A. and the late Gavin; adored great-grandmother of 13; loving daughter of the late Joseph Van and Lillie Mae (nee Speed) Kirkland; also survived by relatives and a host of friends.
