Barbara J. Scholey

87, of Buffalo, entered into rest on April 11, 2025. Loving daughter of the late Douglas S. and Grace May (nee Woolner) Scholey; dear sister of the late Paul Scholey; also survived by cousins, Donna Slote, David Kett, Terry Woolner, Shelly Woolner, William Armstrong, James Armstrong and the late Doug Armstrong, late Ann Link and late Joseph Armstrong, extended family and many friends including Sandra Falletta, Marie Knerr, and Rev. Kathryn Bindig. Barbara was a former Docent for the Buffalo Zoo for 20 years, winning awards for her work on the Zoo's behalf. She also volunteered her time at the Ronald McDonald House and School 43, where she was also a teacher. No prior visitation. A memorial service will be held at University Methodist Church, 410 Minnesota Ave. Buffalo on Friday, May 2 at 11am (please assemble at church). Flowers gratefully declined.
