78, of Grand Island, entered into rest on December 10, 2025. Devoted husband of Angela (nee Ductor) Giaimo; beloved father of Joseph (Kristie) Giaimo; cherished grandfather of Joshua and Jackson; loving son of the late Joseph and Rose (nee Cammarata) Giaimo; dear brother of the late Mary Ann Giaimo and Annette (Frank) Nicastro; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd.(near Eggert/Sheridan) Amherst for a gathering in Basil's memory on Thursday (12/18) from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, where military honors will follow.
