Beatrice Ruggiero

Beatrice Ruggiero (ne Tripoli), 97, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024, in West Seneca, NY. Born on March 14, 1927, in Buffalo, NY, she was a cherished member of the community and a devoted wife to the late Alfonse Ruggiero. Beatrice dedicated many years of service as a cafeteria aide at School 45 in Buffalo, NY, where she was beloved by staff and students alike. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life into her personal interests and hobbies. A passionate fan of the Yankees, The Buffalo Bills and was an avid card player, Beatrice also enjoyed visits to the casino and was renowned for her homemade pizza and sauce. A devout follower of her faith, she was a regular at St. Andrew's Church, embodying its teachings in her everyday life. She leaves behind a loving family, including her children, Phyllis Honan (James), Dawn Puglisi (Jeff Sucharski), and Joseph Ruggiero (Jaime). Beatrice was a proud grandmother to Marc Honan (Kate), Kelly Carosa (Joseph), Salvatore Puglisi (Gabrielle), Jason Puglisi, Matthew Ruggiero, and Zachary Ruggiero, and a great-grandmother to Cal, Chase, James, and Adeline. She is also survived by her sister Rita Tucker (late Ray). Predeceased by Ignatius Tripoli, Dominic Tripoli, Madeline (Anthony) Panaro, Alfred Tripoli (Ruth), and John Tripoli (Mary). Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Carmela Tripoli. She is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews whom she adored. Beatrice's memory will be honored in a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Amelia's Church in Tonawanda on Monday, August 5th at 9:30 am. An Interment at Holy Sepulchre following the mass at St. Amelia's. Lombardo Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Beatrices life was filled with laughter, love, and an unyielding devotion to her family and faith, leaving a lasting legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.
