BURE - Bernice E. (nee Forsyth) Of West Seneca, entered into rest June 13, 2016, beloved wife of 59 years of the late James E. Bure; devoted mother figure to Katie (nee Zubler) and Patrick Hanley; cherished grandmother figure to Adam and Matthew Hanley; loving daughter of the late William and Matilda Forsyth; dear sister of the late William (late Lillian) Forsyth, Myrtle (late William) O'Keefe and Marie (late Edward) O'Malley; fond aunt of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; dearest friend of Darcy Milligan. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Friday from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Church, 1140 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, on Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock (please assemble at church). Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
