Betty Doldan Barrett

Born and raised in Buffalo NY, Betty was the daughter of the late Angel L. and Antonia L. Doldan

Predeceased by her husband David Barrett, she was the sister of Arthur L. (Carolyn) Doldan and predeceased by her brothers Joseph, James, and Robert. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.

Betty attended the State University of NY at Buffalo and the University of Madrid in Spain. Upon her return to the U.S. Betty worked for the Spanish Embassy in Washington before venturing on to Minneapolis, MN and then ultimately to the San Francisco area of California. Holding various management positions there, she distinguished herself drawing on her knowledge of international transactions while continuing to develop her business know-how and skills.

Over the years Betty faced three different cancers with remarkable courage, persevering multiple treatment cycles and recovery periods. She enjoyed baking, collecting antiques and bargain hunting. She will be missed and remembered fondly.

Betty will be interred with her husband David at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
