Betty L. Herrmann

HERRMANN, Betty L. (nee Sloan) - Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on May 1, 2023. Beloved wife of 64 years to Richard E. Herrmann Sr.; devoted mother of Dean Scott (late Maureen) Herrmann, Cindy (Joseph) McCollum, Timothy Mark Herrmann, and Richard 'Rick' E. Herrmann Jr.; cherished grandmother of Allison Herrmann, Samantha Herrmann, Betty McCollum, and Bella McCollum; loving daughter of the late Edward and Martha (nee Gehrman) Sloan; dear sister of the late Richard Sloan. Betty was a founder of Adopt-a-Pet and Shaggy Hill in Amherst, NY. She lived the majority of her life in Green Acres North in Tonawanda and was a lifelong member of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church. She was extremely active in her church, with her faith being the most important thing and loved spreading the Gospel of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was the Owner of Composition Corner and worked at M&T Bank. She loved her husband, children, family, and animals. No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, May 12th in St Bartholomew's Anglican Church, 2368 Eggert Road Tonawanda, NY 14150.
