Bohuslav Zavrel

Age 93, of Buffalo, NY, died on May 6, 2013 at Garden Gate HCF. Born on January 3, 1920 in the former Czechoslovakia, where he was a teacher until the Soviet invasion of 1968. He and his wife Radka obtained political asylum in Switzerland, and later emigrated to join their sons in the U.S. in 1975. Lifelong he was a devoted father of B. John (Sandra) Zavrel and Ray (Cindy) Zavrel; grandfather of Wesley, Christopher, Thomas and Erik; also survived by relatives and friends. No prior visitations. Private funeral services held at the convenience of the family.
