Bronislaw M. "Bud" Pilat

PILAT - Bronislaw M. "Bud" Of South Buffalo, entered into rest May 8, 2017. Beloved husband of Geraldine "Geri" (nee Smith) Pilat; devoted father of Michael (Melissa) Pilat, Patricia Gault, Alan Pilat, Edward (Kimberly) Brendel, Mark Pilat, Jolie Pilat and the late Robert Pilat and Michelle Brendel-Rigby; cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Bronislaw and Martha Pilat; predeceased by three brothers and two sisters; also survived by relatives and friends. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site), 65 Ridgewood Rd., South Buffalo on Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock. (Please assemble at church). Mr. Pilat served in the US Navy. Bud was a beloved baseball coach, member of the Knights of Columbus and a former Mercy Associate.
