Beloved husband of 36 years to Carolyn (nee Paul) Eckert; loving son of the late Clarence and Cecelia Eckert; dear brother of Suzanne (late Harry) Zimmerman, Craig (Linda) Eckert and Nancy (Jeffery) Bell; cherished brother-in-law of Susan (Norm 'Mike') Koch, Lin Pitrelli and Julia (late Randy) Paul; adored uncle of Renee Matthes, Carrie Patterson, Matthew Eckert, Casey Bell, Travis Bell, Russell Kennedy, Steven Kennedy, Randal Kennedy, Rachel Pitrelli and Melissa Pitrelli; also survived by 7 great-nieces and great-nephews. No prior visitation. A graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Park, 3210 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst on Saturday (April 15) at 10:15AM. Please assemble at the main entrance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bruce's name to the American Heart Association.
