Calogero Sciandra

Sciandra, Calogero, 86, of North Buffalo, entered into rest on January 3, 2025. Devoted husband of 61 years to Barbara (nee Symmonds) Sciandra; beloved father of the late Carlene (Larry) Panaro, David (Christina) Sciandra, the late Maria Sciandra and Anthony Sciandra; cherished grandfather of Mark (Brittany) Bosco, Gina Bosco, Danielle Panaro, Christopher Panaro, Alyssia Sciandra, Christian Sciandra and Miles Sciandra; adored great-grandfather of Camila and Sofia Bosco; loving son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (nee Castellino) Sciandra; dear brother of the late Angelo Sciandra, Carmela (Guido) Ciach and Rosario Sciandra; also survived by several nieces and 1 nephew. He was very passionate about pasta and gardening. He enjoyed spending time with family. Above all, he adored his grandchildren and always made sure that they knew they were first in his life. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Friday, January 10 from 5-7pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7pm. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Saturday at 11am (please assemble at cemetery).
