RYAN - Carl A. Of Tonawanda. Entered into rest June 21, 2018. Beloved husband of Mary S. (nee Stryczek) Ryan; devoted father of Carl Ryan, William (Janet) Ryan, Michael Ryan (Diane Mallaber) and Cheryl Truesdell (Timothy Frears); cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Anson and Margaret Ryan; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan on Monday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Amelia's Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda on Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock. (Please assemble at church.) Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Carl served in the U.S. Army during WWII, was a member of the WNY Catholic War Veterans and American Legion Post 205. Donations to Buffalo Hospice or Schofield Residence would be appreciated.
