Carol O. Goembel

Of Orchard Park joined her

beloved husband of 60 years

Bob, age 94 on March 28, 2025.

Loving mother of Sue (Susan) and

Judi; daughter of the late Robert and

Clara Ohlheiser, sister to the

late Robert (Betty) Ohlheiser;

and also survived by sister-in-

law Joan Goembel and many

nieces, nephews, and friends.

Carol graduated from Fredonia

in 1951 with a degree in music.

She taught 10 years in the

Clarence Elementary Schools.

After raising her daughters, she

returned to substitute teaching

in the Frontier School system. In

retirement, while living in Florida

she helped form and produce a

kitchen band that played programs

for nursing homes. When

she and Bob moved to Fox Run

Orchard Park Carol shared her

love of music with sing-a-long

programs in assisted living,

accompanying the Fox Run Choir,

playing for church services and

Celebrations of Life events.

While music was a constant

theme throughout her life, family

was always her first priority. She

lived her life by these words:

“Family-where life begins and

love never ends!” She will be

forever missed. Relatives and

friends are invited to attend

a Celebration of Life at Fox Run

(Maloney Center), One Fox Run

Lane, Orchard Park on Friday,

May 9th. A gathering will be held

from 11:00-11:30AM. A funeral

service will immediately follow at 11:30AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be

made to Hospice Buffalo.
