Carol J. Northup

NORTHUP, Carol J. 82, passed peacefully June 7, 2023. Daughter of the late Nicholas and Margaret (nee Morrison) Northup and step-daughter of the late Gladys Northup; cherished sister of the late Barbara Reed Northup; dear friend of the Beck, Donatelli, Fournier, Getter, Martin and Thomas families; also survived by many friends. Carol worked for the Buffalo Board of Education as a primary grade teacher, CPE Coordinator, reading teacher and District Reading Specialist in various schools. She retired in 1997 and subsequently enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her loved ones. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, 1700 N. French Rd. Getzville on Saturday, June 24 at 10 oclock. Please assemble at church. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Syracuse, NY. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
