Carol A. Szot Batt, 67, received her angel wings on March 7, 2022, following a very courageous five year battle with brain cancer. Carol worked for The Erie County Public Library System for 40 years retiring in 2017, as the Chief Operating Officer. She was an avid Buffalo sports fan. Carol was predeceased by her father, Louis Szot; and a brother, Ronald Szot. She is survived by her best friend and partner, Paul L. Manno; her mother, Rita (nee Wlodarek) Szot of Dunkirk; and a niece; Aleyna (Bradley) Westling of Frdonia. A Celebration of Life will be at a date and time to be announced. Interment will be private.
