KOREN - Carrie I. (nee Wiercioch) Of Hamburg, entered into rest on August 3, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Edmund Koren; devoted mother of Diane (Paul) Antos, Dennis Koren and the late Kenneth Koren; cherished grandmother of Alan (Nicole) Antos, Karl Antos, Kimberley (Eric) Mazur, Katherine Meyers, Stacy Koren, Jessica (Patrick) Johnson, Jennifer Koren and 10 great grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Valentine and Cecilia Wiercioch; dear sister of the late Eugenia, Stanley (late Leona), Joseph (late Violet), Adolph (Jane), Sophie, Mary (late Walter) and Bertha (late Stephen). Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Sunday from 2-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Bistrica Church, 1619 Abbott Rd., Lackawanna on Monday morning at 11:30 AM. Please assemble at Church. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
