(nee Demert) Of Amherst, entered into rest August 27, 2014, at the age of 98; beloved wife of the late Lawrence J. Schlum; devoted mother of Patricia Healy, Marilyn (Robert) Thomas, Barbara (Steven) Gallo and John (Wendy) Schlum; affectionately known as Grandma, Great-Grandma, Grammy and Oma by her three generations of grandchildren; predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Mrs. Schlum was a member of the St. Benedict's Altar Rosary Society and Senior Citizens Group.
