BOLIS - CHARLES L., Sr. Of Buffalo, entered into rest February 22, 2022. Beloved husband of 65 years to Christina M. (nee Ludwiczak) Bolis; devoted father of Mark (Rhonda) Bolis, Charlene (Scott) Haenlin, Cynthia (Jay) Vona, Michelle (Edwin) Cajigas, and predeased by his son Charles L. Bolis, Jr.; cherished Gido of AM1 U.S. Navy Marc J. (Victoria) Allen, Michael (Kyla Lomonaco) Bolis, James (Jennifer Lopez) Allen, Jaime (Brittany) Vona, Jared (Nicole Ekstrom) Vona, Alexander Bolis, and Colton Bolis; adored great Gido of Wolf H. Allen; loving son of the late Louis and Antoinette (nee Hayek) Bolis; dear brother of Helene (late Joseph) Pollina and the late Marie (Victor) Carbone; fond brother-in-law to Carl and Annette Ludwiczak; also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Thursday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of Heaven Church, 4220 Seneca St., West Seneca, on Friday morning at 10:15 oclock (Please assemble at church). Charles was a longtime parishioner and Usher at Queen of Heaven Church where he always volunteered at the famous carnival dealing Blackjack. Charles enjoyed landscaping around the house and being outdoors. He was a retired teamster of Local #449. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Charles name to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
