CARUANA - Charles A. Of West Seneca, entered into rest August 16, 2014, beloved husband of 67 years to Jane (nee Quinn) Caruana; devoted father of Dennis (Deborah), Michael (Mildred) Caruana, Deborah (Ralph) Lorigo and the late baby Charles Caurana; cherished grandfather of Tim (Marcel), Daniel Caruana, Michael (Devonie), Joseph (Jean) Lorigo, Eric (Kristen), Lisa, Christopher Caruana, Jaime (Shane) Good and Brittany (Patrick) Backus; great-grandfather of 11; loving son of the late Anthony and Carmela Caruana; dear brother of Carmen Caruana, Grace Mandanici, Gloria (Salvatore) Schiavone and predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters; also survived by relatives and many friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Monday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Vianney Church, 2950 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. (Please assemble at church). Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Caruana was an Army veteran of WWII, serving in three campaigns: Rome-Arno, Naples-Foggia and Tunisian Campaign.
