Beloved husband of Grace (nee Nasso) Lauricella; devoted father of Charles V., Angela, Vincent (Meredith) Lauricella and Christina (Andrew) Veatch; cherished grandfather of Kaitlin, Charles M., Gina, Brianna, Megan, Molly, Jacob, Abby, Charlie, Silvie, Michael and great-grandfather of Logan; loving son of the late Charles P. and Mary Lauricella; dear brother of Fannie (late Hubert) Smith, Dennis (Diane) Lauricella, late Frank (late Jean) Lauricella and the late Adeline (late Robert) Bolton; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Wednesday (August 23) from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Thursday morning at 9:15AM. Please assemble at Church. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Chuck started at Bethlehem Steel in the 1960s and was a planning and maintenance foreman there for much of his career. For over 30 years he was very much respected and admired by his co-workers. Many of them called him Charlie. He invented an important improvement in one of the key machines at work which he and Bethlehem Steel later patented. At home he was a farmer and gardener growing garlic, tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers among other vegetables he grew so much produce that he shared them with many people in the neighborhood
