Charles J. LoTempio, Jr., 97, devoted family man, veteran and entrepreneur, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, after brief illness.
Beloved husband of the late Ann (Ciszewski) LoTempio; devoted father of Charles (Laurie) LoTempio III, David (Susan) LoTempio, and Jonathan (Cheryl) LoTempio; loving Grampy of Charles (Ryan) LoTempio IV, Katie Hannah, Andrew Hannah, Malorie (Albert) Staton, Scott Bennett, Grace LoTempio, Jack LoTempio, Jonathan (Rebecca) LoTempio, Jr., and Stephanie (Pak Ho Wu) LoTempio; dear great-grandfather of Charles LoTempio V, Vincent LoTempio and Levi Staton; brother of the late Anthony (Julia) LoTempio and the late Jean (Joseph) Paladino. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Charles served proudly in Okinawa, Japan, as a medic with the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon returning to Niagara Falls, he raised his family and enjoyed a long and successful career in several family businesses including LoTempio's Pharmacy, Twinlo Beverage and Twinlo Racquet Club. He was active in the East Side Businessmen's Association, served as a past President of the Sertoma Club, and was an avid painter, sculptor and private pilot. Charles will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. Private services will be held later.
