VENTURA - Charles J. Of South Buffalo, entered into rest on May 3, 2022, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 57 years to Marilyn (nee Boechel); devoted father of Mary (Tom) Giammichele, Michelle Ventura, Colleen (Peter) Wiatrowski, and Christopher (Delilah) Ventura; cherished grandfather of Robert (Megan) Fargino, Bryan Tirohn, Shannon (Steven Anstett) Tirohn, Bryan Giammichele, Amanda Kosich, Alexander Ventura, Nathan Wiatrowski, and the late Andrew Fargino; adored great-grandfather of Lucas, Olivia, Amelia Fargino, and Hailey Anstett; loving son of the late Joseph Ventura and the late Hilda (Bob) Schaefer; dear brother of Joseph (late Marlene) Ventura, Rose (late Ron) Vondell, Anna (late Ray) Robbins; predeceased by Mary Jane (late Harold) Frost, Salvatore (Patricia) Ventura, Jeanette (late Butch) Frost, Lucy (late Bill) Lamoreaux, and Norman Ventura; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Monday from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site) 65 Ridgewood Rd., South Buffalo on Tuesday morning at 9:30 oclock (please assemble at church). Charles was a proud United States Navy Veteran and the District Council No. 4. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles honor may be made to Hospice Care of Buffalo or Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
