WILLIAMS - Charles A. Of Tonawanda entered into rest December 27th, 2020; beloved husband of Norma M. (nee Sheldon) Williams; devoted father of Sherrill (Mark) Maier, Julie Williams and Marcia (Craig) Paianini; cherished grandfather of Brooke (Paul) Leubner, Derek Maier, Justin Paianini, Jake Paianini and Kristen Williams; great-grandfather of Liam; loving son of the late Wilson and Beaulah Williams; dear brother of Jean Huskey; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., Amherst, on Saturday (January 2), from 1-4 PM for a gathering in Charles memory. Mr. Williams served in theUnited States Navy. Although Charles was a Science Teacher for 37 years at North Tonawanda Senior High, his passion was coaching football. He was the Head Coach at Canisius College for five years, the Defensive Coordinator at Canisius and Buffalo State College and the assistant coach at North Tonawanda Senior high He was also an avid golfer and karate enthusiast, loved to work out and his favorite nickname was Coach Arms. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles name to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
