Our beloved mother, Cheryl Denise Thomas (Dent), was born to the late Evelyn and late Clarence Dent Sr. on May 19, 1956. God called her home to His glory on Friday, January 12, 2024 following a lengthy illness. She was the ideal image of a "good and faithful servant" working tirelessly as the Dean of Bible Academy, District Director of Christian Education for Full Gospel Baptist Church FellowshipBuffalo District, an Armor Bearer and as the Duty Pastor (Bereavement / Sick and Shut In) for True Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Darius G. Pridgen. There is nothing Cheryl enjoyed more than to cook a meal for her family and friends. Her cakes, pies, and homemade dishes rang loud among all who knew her. She cooked for every holiday, celebration and occasion, as it was one of the many ways she showed her love. Cheryl's legacy was that of boundless love. Relatives and friends may visit the True Bethel Baptist Church, 907 E Ferry St, Buffalo, NY 14211, on Monday, January 22nd from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.
