Ferrucci, Christine A celebration of life will be held at St. Columba Brigids 75 Hickory St. Buffalo, 14204 on Thursday, December 7, 2023 . Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Christine came into this world in 1935, born to Sophia and Bernard Mach. She returned to the lord on December 3, 2023. The years between were full of love, joy, adventure, achievement and service to her community. Christine attended East High School in Buffalo, New York. She married her high school sweetheart Emilio. Together they forged a life full of love that touched the lives of their family and community. Uncharacteristically for her time, Christine made her mark in the world with rewarding careers. As a young woman, she worked in sales for Sarah Coventry (1958-1984). She was a transformative force for those who came into her sphere, encouraging all who worked for her that they could achieve goals that seemed elusive. Over her twenty-seven years with Sarah Coventry, she worked her way up to be Senior Vice President of Sales. From 1984 to 2008 she worked in real estate sales as an agent, broker and sales manager. Christine was dedicated to improving her church and her community. From 1969-1984 Emilio and Christine were leaders in the Father John Fund. Their fund-raising efforts improved the lives of people with disabilities and the residents of the West Seneca Developmental Center. This fund made improvements in transportation and recreation and travel experiences for the residents. Through Couples Club, she volunteered with her friends to raise money to help under-privileged children to attend Catholic high schools. She was an active member in Buffalo Lackawanna Lions Club and achieved a Melvin Jones Fellow Award in 1989. Christine was mother to three daughters Donna McDonald (Jeffry), Christine Hoffman (Frits) and Cynthia Ferrucci. Her love and encouragement nurtured her daughters to fulling and happy lives. She has six grandchildren: Jenna McDonald-Briggs (Thomas), Jeffry McDonald (Janice Alvarez), Michael McDonald (Nicole Schmidt), Oskar Hoffman, Georgia Hoffman and Zoe Hoffman. And Christine was blessed with seven great grandchildren. She leaves us all with the joy of having known and loved her and knowing that she is at peace in eternal life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris's name may be made to the American Cancer Society. Your browser does not support this video format.
