Christine Louise Wells

WELLS - Christine Louise Aged 72 years, passed away on March 23, 2023. She was born July 11, 1950 to Henry and Virginia Auer. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joseph L. Wells, their son Dr. David D. Wells and his wife Dr. Robyn Goacher, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Christine was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Auer, and sisters Barbara VanTyne and Nancy Boesl. Chris grew up and lived all of her life in Boston, NY. She was active in the Boston Fire Company (Ladies) Auxiliary for 41 years and she served as president of that organization from 1984 to 1987 and again from 1991 to 1992. She also loved going to the Fair and particularly enjoyed a full moon. She will be remembered at a viewing from 2-6 PM on Sunday (March 26th) and a Funeral Service at 10 AM on Monday (March 27th) at the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial gift in Chriss honor are asked to contribute to the Boston Fire Company Auxiliary or Boston Emergency Squad in her name.
