Christopher M. Nicholson Sr.

NICHOLSON, CHRISTOPHER M. Sr., "Coach Boots" 47, of Lackawanna, entered into rest unexpectedly, on April 15, 2025. Devoted father of Jayda M. Giangrosso-Nicholson (Joseph Sciolino) and Christopher (Jeanette) Nicholson Jr.; cherished grandfather of Madeline C. Millidge and Sophia L. Nicholson; loving son of Kenneth Nicholson and Karen (nee Mogavero) Berdych; loving stepson of Michael A. Berdych Jr;  dear brother of John C. (Leah) Nicholson, Michael A. (Alicia) Berdych III, and Mark A. (Rebecca) Berdych; adored grandson of Phyllis L. Mogavero; former companion of Lisa Giangrosso. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Christopher was a dedicated member of Lackawanna Little Loop and the L.Y.D.S. Association for over 15 years. He was also a skilled tradesman and volunteer for all of Lackawanna through Nicholson's Construction and the kindness of his heart.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., Monday (April 21) from 2-8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd, Lackawanna, Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM. Please assemble at church.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
