Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Saturday, April 15th from 1:00-4:00PM, where a Memorial Service will immediately follow at 4:00PM. Christopher was a graduate of Kenmore West High School, class of 1998. He grew up and was the paper boy on a unique street and neighborhood where the neighbors are family. Chris and his childhood friends were known as the" ILP" and share a long history of mischievous tales. And he developed new friendships throughout his adult life. His friends will best remember him for his love of skateboarding and building the famous Linden Skate Park ramp in his backyard where they enjoyed endless hours of skating and fun times. He also enjoyed building a beautiful koi pond in his yard and had a green thumb for beautiful landscaping in his mother, Bernies garden every season. Just like his father, Nelson, Chris could figure out how to fix anything and take on any DIY project. He loved to collect new tools and enjoyed shopping online for new gadgets on Amazon. In his spare time, he enjoyed Star Trek, Star Wars, photography, coin collecting, creating poster art and watching and reading about the universe. He was the master of the grill every Fathers Day. Chris was a kind soul and always willing to lend a hand when someone needed help moving or a project at their house. And he did the best he could to care for his parents family home. Chris was also very helpful with his 20-year-old nephew, Connor, who is on the Autism spectrum. When Connor came for visits, Chris was very patient, calm and helpful with his nephew especially with all his iPad issues. Chris enjoyed music, the nightlife scene, and loved to breakdance. He would clear out the dance floor with all eyes on him. He enjoyed the ink life and adding to his tattoo collection. Workouts in the gym were a priority to showcase the ink art on his arms. Without a doubt, Chris was always stylish in skater fashion, DC Radar skate shoes, rocking a cool ball cap and backpack and wearing anything camouflage. Fashion was a hobby and he took great pride in his look and finding amazing deals especially at Kohls. Chris greatest passion in life was his love for computers and technology. He could take a computer apart and build a brand new one, fix them, upgrade them, and sell them. He considered himself a computer geek and was fortunate to work and excel in the IT industry at UB Micro and McKesson. Chris was always willing to lend a hand to his friends and family with computer issues, especially to his Uncle Alan. Chriss greatest companion of 12 years was his dog, a Pug he named Blu. Chris loved Blu dearly. He landscaped a beautiful memorial to Blu in the yard. Chris was also a "cat dad" to Chipley and GiGi and enjoyed showing off photos of his cats on social media. Chris was a son, brother, uncle and cousin of a tight-knit family who loved him dearly and will miss him endlessly.
