SAMLAND - Clarice S. (nee Alexander) Of Grand Island, entered into rest August 30, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Bernhard Samland; devoted mother of Michael (Debra) Samland, Darlene Simmons (David Fuest), Karen Fischer (James Sturtz), and Lisa (Michael) Gallagher; mother-in-law of the late Colleen (nee Clements) Samland; cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, including the late Kevin; adored great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Frederick and Leona Alexander; dear sister of Frederick Alexander; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Sunday from 2-6PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Church, 2100 Baseline Rd, Grand Island, Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Please assemble at church.
