Concetta 'Connie' Rudes Of Amherst, entered into rest November 8, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Rudes who passed away August 13, 2006 at the age of 76. Beloved mother of William, and the late Jay who predeceased her on February 17, 2021; Also survived by her daughter in law Annette Rudes and her grandchildren Rebekah, Emily John Rudes and the late Abigail Christ; greatgrandchildren Haleigh Christ, Mason Schwass, Bryson and Kinsley Charsley; Her brother like Arthur Lupia and Sister like Margaret Joy, many cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (Eggert/Sheridan) on Wednesday from 3:00 - 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock at St. Pius X 1700 N. French Rd. Getzville (please assemble at church). Connie was appointed director of athletic training and health services for the Buffalo Blazers, a local professional soccer club, in 1978. She is written up in Erie County Trailblazers and was an affiliate member of the National Trainers Association.
