GIERMEK - Corinne Of South Buffalo, entered into rest September 24, 2022. Loving daughter of the late John and Theresa Giermek; dear sister of John Anthony and the late Anita (late Barry) Lane; adored godmother and aunty to Phil (Stephanie), Ryder, Camdyn, Huxley, and Kynslee; cherished aunt of Amy, Michelle, and Peter; also survived by family and friends. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Martin of Tours Church, 1140 Abbott Rd., Buffalo, on Friday morning at 9:30 oclock. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Corinne loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her beautiful adventurous spirit led her to travel the world, and enabled her to cross every item off her long bucket list. Most of her working life was spent as a dedicated nurse caring for patients at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, a career she truly embraced. Her volunteer activities included becoming a docent at the Buffalo Zoo, where she was able to express her keen interest and affection for all types of animals. Corinnes kindness, curiosity, and dynamic approach to life will be greatly missed.
