NELSON, Craig R. of South Buffalo, entered into rest September 2, 2026. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Roche) Nelson; devoted father of Ashley Nelson-Kines and Christopher (Pricilla) Nelson; cherished grandfather of 11; loving son of the late Charles and Patricia Nelson; dear brother of Charles (Diane) Nelson Jr., David (Lynn) Nelson, Jacquelyn (Randy) Zagst, Christy (Mark) Michaels, and the late Walter (Sandra) Nelson; fond brother-in-law of Mary O’Mara, Margaret (John) DeMarco, and John Roche; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Thursday (9/10) from 2-6 PM, where a Prayer Service will immediately follow. Craig was a United States Army Veteran. He will be remembered for his ability to fix anything and his love for the outdoors including the cottage.
