Relatives and friends may visit Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 400 Northampton St., Buffalo on Tuesday from 10-11 AM. A Funeral Service will be held from 11 AM- Noon. Craig Edward Rhines was born on Thursday, November 3, 1960, to the late Charles Rhines and Ethel Harris in Buffalo, New York. Craig, Craig G, or Craig-a-leg as he was lovingly known was a product of the Buffalo Public school system where he attended Emerson High School. He held various jobs in the healthcare field and car sales. He was a true extrovert who was full of life. Craig loved to take pictures with his family and friends always flashing a huge grin. He could bring a smile to anyones face, even in their darkest time. He took great pleasure in mentoring and inspiring young people to think outside the box and be their very best. In fact, one of his greatest joys was his love of his grandchildren. He lived an adventurous life traveling all over the country to do things that many of us can only dream of. In the winter of 2018 he was also the face of a fundraising campaign to help U.S.Veterans. Craig was never short on a strong opinion or advice and didnt bite his tongue if he had a voice that needed to be heard. He always insisted on getting the last word. In the late evening hours of Sunday, November 21, 2021, he departed this life at Erie County Medical Center. In addition to his beloved parents Chuck and Ethel, Craig was preceded in death by his son LaJuan Glenn and his sister Shawnteka Davis. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children - Tiffany Rhines, Javon Rhines, and Erica Lloyd; 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; siblings Dennis Rhines, Paul Rhines, Tonya Walden, Camille Jackson, Delwin Rhines, Darnell Davis, and Charell Davis; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, a special loved one and many friends.
